Home (and proposal) on the range.

Amber and Will is a classic love story. Texas boy meets Iowa girl and falls in love, oh and Snapchat and a dog. This is a modern love story, after all.

It’s hard to pull off a surprise engagement without suspicion and that was the case here. As Amber and Will were in Texas driving around the mountains taking family photos, he dropped to one knee when the camera turned on them. With a breathtaking mountain range by Will’s family ranch, it was the perfect moment to propose.

A smaller wedding can help you enjoy more of it.

As we know, this past year has made planning a wedding interesting, but Amber and Will felt fortunate not to have their wedding postponed — even though the guest list had to be cut in half, safety was top of mind.

Keeping things more intimate made it so everyone at their wedding was dear to the couple. Being surrounded by everyone who had supported and loved the couple gave such a perspective of their day.

Beautiful in Boho.

Amber wanted a boho theme with vintage flair and her favorite color, yellow. The couple didn’t hire a florist, because the bride wanted to create their floral arrangements for the day.

This saved the couple a lot of money, during the planning process, by taking on some of the work. Plus, they were able to keep them as a reminder of their day.

Luckily, her sister, an interior designer, chipped in on the decorating by creating a lovely arch the morning of the wedding and decorating the entire reception hall.

Memories for a lifetime.

Once the couple saw Harpors Vineyard, they instantly knew they wanted to book, and everything else fell in place. They loved the crew at Harpors and it made it super easy to plan their day.

When the day arrived, walking down the aisle with her father, was the most memorable moment for Amber. The pictures say it all. Plus stand-out speeches from her family members and the groom’s father married them.

When it comes to the wedding the couple had this advice, don’t stress about the big or little things. Your day will be perfect no matter what, and marrying the love of your life is what matters most of all.
