Jillian of A Memorable Event of Iowa transformed the raw space at The Barnum Factory with the help of some of her favorite wedding professionals. See how she used color, natural textures and home decor to design a wedding space for the perfect day, with pieces you can bring back to your home.
Jillian was inspired by things that people feel cozy this time of year. A lot of the pieces she chose could be repurposed for the home, on your dining room table or a gift for friends and family. It's a wonderful keepsake for everyone from the day. Look for natural textures to be a part of your wedding, like marble, glass, floral, and produce. You don't need to have gold and silver to add elegance.
This sleek, elegant gown is cut with a deep-V neckline with the structure of the dress made to fit her curves perfectly. A subtle pop of Ultra Violet on her belt is the color you'll see sprinkled throughout this shoot, as we say goodbye to the 2018 Pantone Color of the year. And we love the hint of Ultra Violet in this smokey eye. Add the pink of the lips and cheeks with just a touch magenta to bring it all together.
Swap out the Ultra Violet color to get a completely different look. The natural accent textures can complement any color palette. You can create your own backdrop to your ceremony with fabric like chiffon, organza, satin or taffeta. Use synthetic weaves to not break the budget.
